Technicians are the workhorses and unsung heroes of any veterinary practice. They assist with collecting samples, placing catheters and endotracheal tubes, taking x-rays, administering therapy laser treatments, monitoring surgical patients, scaling teeth, making follow-up calls, and educating pet owners.
Roberta is a certified veterinary technician who has shared her talents with us since 2005! Roberta has her own set of fans due to her dedication to her clients and their pets. Her love of educating others in pet care and her attention to detail make her a huge asset to our clinic and the community.
Kelly is a certified veterinary technician. She started her career here in September of 2018. Prior to that she demonstrated her commitment to the community by sharing her skills at the Boys and Girls Club, as well as the humane society! She was involved in the adoption of many local pets. In her free time, Kelly is mom to Ryland and some very spoiled pets.
Heather joined us as part of the team from Woodland in 2020. We are so pleased to add another experienced assistant to our team. Heather received her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point. Her goal has always been to work with animals, and learn as much as possible from her experiences. Heather currently shares her home with a rescue cat named Rex. She loves sushi, and water activities like boating and swimming, along with ATVing, hiking, and spending quality time with family and friends.
Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT)
Theresa has more than 18 years of experience , and completed her veterinary technician national examination (VTNE), Dec 2018. She has always loved working with animals, and started out as a kennel attendant, eventually working her way up to assisting. She lives with her fiancée, Nick; their 2 cats, Centauri and Korben. Her favorite part about being a veterinary technician is advising clients on how to best take care of their pets. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, playing video games, and watching old school movies.
Jordan is a current student at UWSP with graduation in her in sight for the spring of 2022. She is majoring in Biology with a minor in Chemistry and intends to pursue a career in research. Jordan has 2 dogs and a cat. She spends her free time hiking and playing with the dogs.
Stephanie came onboard in 2020. She has been working in the veterinary medicine since 1999 in various capacities including assistant, office administration, and head tech in an emergency clinic. Outside of work Stephanie loves to spend time with her family in the outdoors.
Kaela has been with us since 2020. She is a hard working assistant who is working on learning all she can about the veterinary field. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her family. They enjoy fishing, camping and boating.
We are so proud to claim Katie as our own. She has been with us over her breaks from college in several different capacities trying to learn everything she can. In the fall of 2021 she will head off to vet school at UW Madison!
Marissa joined our team in 2021. She earned a degree from UWSP in Wildlife Ecology Information and Ecology in 2017. One of her favorite experiences was an Aviculturist Internship with the International Crane Foundation in 2018. Marissa is is working on becoming a certified vet tech. In her spare time she enjoys going up north with her family, spending time her menagerie of pets and crafts.
In 2021 Maci's passion for animals prompted a career shift that brought her to us. Her goal is to become a certified vet tech in the future. She is a volunteer at the local humane society. She is a "Failed Foster Parent" because most of her foster pets never leave her loving home! Maci loves to travel and spend time in her garden in her spare time.
Jamie joined our team in 2021. She earned a B. S. in Animal Science from U. W. - Madison. Her experience has been on the large animal side of the field, but she quickly transitioned to small animal. Jamie spends her time away from the clinic working on the family farm or with her kids and their many activities.
Tori's interest in veterinary medicine began at an early age with her love for horses. She has a B. S. in Animal Science-Equine from UWRF along with her vet tech certification. Having previously worked in equine emergency and critical care, her dedication to vet med has carried over into small animals. In her spare time Tori enjoys camping, hiking, or anything else outdoors!
